CW2020
Attached is a styled wall where the sheathing/finish component runs lower than the other to conceal the slab. I explored the component settings and such, but would greatly appreciate input on how this is achieved... haven't seen it before, but understand it's value/application.WALL COMPONENT QUESTION.vwx Quote Link to comment
TomKen
Edit the wall style. 1-select the component in the wall editor 2-select the edit button 3-choose offset component option and set the amount to offset by. You can set this as a default in the wall style editor, or you can do it on a per wall basis by selecting components in the OIP for a selected wall. You can chose to offset the top or bottom of the component. Edited June 3, 2022 by TomKen Quote Link to comment
CW2020
Thanks for the reply, Tom. To be clear, that Bottom Offset -1'-0" is what is showing in the file I sent? You didn't make that adjustment, correct? Mine shows that as 0" (see attached). And I immediately went to that setting in the first place on this example and others. I even exaggerated them to -100' on various wall components. And it had zero impact. Quote Link to comment
CW2020
So I just installed and reinstalled VWX (again) and it's resolved this issue, and others. Thanks again for your input. 1 Quote Link to comment
