Kevin Allen
I have not tried this, but if you can make the lens a lens object you can set the lens to pick up the color from the color filed in the OIP through the Document Spotlight preference. You need to have a class for the lens and a glow texture that uses the object attribute. Quote Link to comment
Yegaer
Thanks Kevin, Sounds tricky as I'm new to Spotlight, The Fixture is an object so i will have to edit that and isolate the lens part and assign the glow texture correct? Can you do a bullet step by step for me by any chance? 🙂 Thanks Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee jcogdell Posted May 19, 2022 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 19, 2022 Here's a spotlight lighting device rendering cheat sheet that covers the workflow. It was created a while ago so some of the Dialogues have been updated a bit since but it should still be good Spotlight Rendering Cheat Sheet.pdf Quote Link to comment
