When a new file is opened, there is a grey rectangle with light blue grid lines in the center of the page. I think this is an origin marker. What is the rectangle called?
My problem is that when I draw a freehand line across the grey lines, the tool snaps to the grey line. Even if I have all Snapping turned off, I can't draw across those grey lines without my freehand line catching and ruining the curve I am drawing?
Is there a way to delete the rectangle or turn off the snapping aspect?
