Shortnort
Is there a way to extend materials in a wall style? I have used the wrap tool, which works great, but I have a situation where a metal stud wall abuts a CMU wall and I need for the drywall to cover the face os the CMU... I have tried component trim, etc., but can't seem to find a way to accomplish this. Quote Link to comment
TomKen
You can do this with the Wall End Cap Tool using the Add Mode 3 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
It is quite likely that it is your VW2020 does not have the same capabilities as the new VW2022. 1 Quote Link to comment
TomKen
@PatStanford The wall add feature has been available for quite a few releases. @Shortnort I think the add wall end cap may not be working for you in this case because you have a T-Join between the 2 walls. Can you post a drawing with the two walls and doors. Edited May 5 by TomKen 1 Quote Link to comment
Shortnort
More than likely the issue is v2020. I need to update windows so that I can get the latest versions. Anysuggestion on process of upgrading? Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee Matt Panzer Posted May 6 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 6 If the interior finish is the same on the exterior wall is the interior, you can use the new wall closure feature in VW 2022 to wrap the component into the window opening. In the video, I started with the interior wall unjoined so you can see what's happening. The join between needs some improvement but it gets the point across. ScreenFlow.mp4 3 Quote Link to comment
Shortnort
Thank you. The problem arises in the fact that the CMU has no finishes - just a bare CMU wall, thus no wrap is possible for the CMU. I will try end wrapping the stud wall that abuts the CMU wall and see if I can get it to cover exposed CMU. Thank you for the assist. Quote Link to comment

So the exterior in you original screenshot wall is made up of more than one wall object? Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
This is quick test with two unjoined Walls using Wall End Cap in Add + Clip modes: But without seeing your file it's hard to know if this will work for you (i.e. with the storefront) 1 Quote Link to comment
