Vectorworks University - some kudos and ideas for improvements

I try to get onto VWX Uni to improve my skills whenever I can.  It's an easy way to invest an hour when the random meeting gets cancelled, method of becoming familiar with the new release prior to deploying it, or even a music/podcast replacement.

  

I have to say, @Tony Kostreskireally crushed it with the "SAVE TIME WITH HARDSCAPES AND DATA TAGS" lesson.  I think I've watched it twice and learned a few new tricks each time.  Anyhow, it's highly recommended for exposing people to the continued evolution of "style based" thinking and the importance of moving largely towards a record & datatag workflow compared to the older tagging and noting methods.

 

Some general suggestions for improving VWX Uni...

• List the publication date and applicable versions of Vectorworks for the lesson.  It would be great if those were fields in the Transcript and Classes spreadsheets on the portal so we can use that data to sort the offerings.
• List the version of Vectorworks used to produce the lesson (same thoughts on fields for this data as expressed above)
• Note when a lesson may be obsolete for versions of VWX that came into being since the lesson was published.

@jeff prince Adding your wishes to our list of future improvements. You can also use the Feedback option directly in the University that will generate a wishlist/bug item automatically into our systems. Thank you all!

Maybe post a wishlist item for a better wishlist tracking & search system.
