msclark
It does not seem that there is a way to move multiple windows at once or even select multiple windows to perform any other operation to them. I have resorted to moving the whole wall at times then rejoining the corners - does anyone know of a better way to do this? Quote Link to comment
islandmon
One way is to group each individual window before placing onto a wall that way it does not cut & bond with the wall. Then after you've moved em all round and found their final placements... ungroup the suckers ... if you're lucky they should snap into place within the walls. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Geoff McBeath Posted January 28, 2006 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 28, 2006 One of the ways we like to teach users in our courses is as follows: - select the wall or walls (or even simpler, choose Select All) - select the 2D Reshape Tool, and with the Move Polygons Handles mode, marquee the windows you want to move. - use the Move command to move all windows a specified distance OR, - use the mouse to drag the marqueed objects, snapping to a relevant point Note that anything inside the marquee moves, including dimensions, so if your plan is already dimensioned, get them in the marquee too and save the work of another move.
