Job title: Garden Designer/Landscape Architect

Tenure: We’re offering a full-time position with the option for flexible hours on a permanent employment basis.

Location: Working remotely from home, covering the home counties & parts of London.

Adding Value Design is a dynamic practice working with a diverse portfolio of private and commercial clients with exciting upcoming projects. 

Our practice is expanding and we have an opportunities for experienced and newly qualified garden designers or landscape architects to join our enthusiastic team, working on a variety of private and commercial gardens in the UK.

Candidates would need to be progressive, enthusiastic, talented, motivated, organised and hard-working, with a passion for landscape design and plants. Keen to be valued members of our friendly, committed, highly ambitious team. 

Skills and Experience:

Qualification in Garden Design/Landscape Architecture

For Senior roles, Experience working in the industry (2 years + preferable)

Experience in VectorWorks, Sketchup, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Planting knowledge.

Demonstrable experience in the preparation of a wide range of plans, from concept, to detailed specification (portfolio will be requested)

Ability to produce construction drawings

Efficient with administrative tasks

Fluency in both spoken and written English

Organised, analytical and able to self-manage your time and workloads efficiently

Professional friendly demeanour, as well as excellent verbal and written skills

Willingness to work as part of the team and external architects, project managers, contractors and other suppliers

Ability to take direction.

Relevant permit for working in the UK 

A driving licence for the UK.

Portfolio – please be clear which is your work, and the work that was collaborative or part of a team. 10 pages maximum

Portfolios to include concepts, masterplans and at least 3 construction drawings produced using Vectorworks

Whilst based in the Surrey Hills, the candidate would work remotely and be able to travel to projects based in the home counties and parts of London.

Salary: Negotiable - commensurate with experience
