Fairweather & Associates is a Design-Build firm that has been building high-end, modern homes in and around Sonoma County for over 30 years. We are listed by SF Architects.org as one of the best residential contractors in Sonoma and Napa Counties. Our work has also been featured in several books and publications including Dwell Magazine and Architectural Record. We are currently seeking a designer-draftsperson that enjoys modern design, innovative detailing, and being a part of a collaborative team! The position has a flexible hybrid schedule and provides opportunity for professional growth and advancement within a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret structural engineer’s recommendations
• Coordinate information from engineers and authorities having jurisdiction
• Develop and assemble complete sets of working drawings
• Model components and structures in 3-D
• Revise structural and architectural details

Requirements:

• Strong Vectorworks (Mac OS) skills
• In-depth knowledge of architectural documentation
• Knowledge of building components and construction methods
• Detail oriented with excellent problem solving and organizational skills
• Experience with cloud-based project files
• Degree in architecture and/or equal experience (preferred but not required)
