Video Animation tool for 3d flyovers

Hi all, I'm trying to create a fly-through video around a model/project and discovered the animation tool. However, I can't seem to create/edit existing keyframes to be positioned how I want them to be. Can someone direct me to a step by step process? I've watched a few videos as well but still can't seem to save any keyframe views. Thanks in advance.

When you click on your animation path, your keyframes'll show up as blue nodes on that path. When clicking on the nodes, they'll act like a 3D vertices and they can be manipulated as such - moved along x, y and z axis' or constrained to a work plane - etc.
