Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted November 6, 2005 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 6, 2005 VectorWorks Architect has 3D objects suitable for this, and they all can be displayed in 3D. Use the Piping and Piping Connection objects. You can also use the "Piping Run" object which is a little more generic but also includes a 2D label which is nice when showing in plan view. We don't have vent objects as yet -- you could simply draw 3D polygons for the vents in a different color. Quote Link to comment
clipper
I have used the piping objects and they work fine in top plan view only. How do I connect pipework between levels? I have tried using lines converted to nurbs to connect levels but with only elevation veiws available to draw them, it is very hit and miss in lining them up with the pipe runs placed in plan view.
