Retain object overlay while moving

Hey guys,

 

I hope there is a way for when moving an object, there would be the object still in place while an overlay of the same object is visible so I know where I am moving the object instead of just blank preview and I don't know where is new position is, this is quick and intuitive when I just have to do quick moves by eye, like Autocad.

Try using the Move by points tool. The original object stays visible and a preview is displayed showing you where the new object will end up when moved.

Hi Mark, is it possible to turn this function off/on? Couldn't find that. 😞

Hey Mark, it is not always visible unfortunately, when you edit symbols for example is not there, maybe it is a bug at my end
