Vectorworks 22 crashes when in Title Block Manager

Hi,

 

I am having an issue with the Title Block Manager in Vectorworks 2022. It is happening in only one project file that I have.

 

1. Open Title Block Manager

2. Click on Project Data tab on left

3. Vectorworks crashes

 

Other tabs such as Sheet Data and Revision Data are fine.

 

No issues doing this command on version 2021.

If it is only one file, it sounds like it might be a corrupted Title Block Border object.

 

Try and change the TBB with one of the standard ones and see if it still crashes. If not, then that is probably the problem.  If it does still crash then possibly deeper corruption. You could try sending the file to VW Tech Support and see if they can isolate the problem. 

 

Or you can try and fix it on your own. Two options:

 

1. Replace all the TBBs with a standard one.  Delete the TBB from the resource manager. Import a TBB from a different file (or create a new one if necessary). Replace the standard TBBs with the one you imported/created.

 

2. This is the Nuclear Option.  Create a new file with the same Layer structure as your existing file.  Do a Layer by Layer Copy/Paste between the two files.  If you want to be very thorough, don't copy/paste the TBB object but recreate in the new file.
