OMG! Emojis in Vectorworks?!#$%

NO! SAY IT ISN’T SO! Imojis in Vectorworks?. A sacrilege! I don’t want to live in a world where there are imojis in the CAD software. Where did they come from? How did they get there? I was just editing room names on a floor plan when Vectorworks (or somebody) thought I might need a smiley face. Is this supposed to be happening?

@Ed WachterThis has happened to me a few times. It's a Mac OS keystroke combo, so system, not app, issue. What the keystroke is I have no idea, lol

In that case... if you are really really adamant about not having emojis then there is still the option of switching to Windows 😁

Though it will probably be a matter of time until they copy this from Apple. 🤔

Apple Menu->System Preferences->Keyboard->Keyboard->Press fn key to->Do Nothing
