Anders Blomberg
I regularly create complex line types and like the straight forward way to create them. But when using them they don't really behave very well over corners, where I can get all sorts of ugly results, see attached image. Is there a way to get around this? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Scott Lebsack Posted February 18, 2022 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 18, 2022 I'm not aware of any solutions. One inelegant workaround I've used, is to break the solid, horizontal line segment into multiple pieces; using modify>drafting aids>Line into segments. I used between 30 and 70 segments per inch. this should make the corner clipping a little less noticeable. Good Luck. 1 Quote Link to comment
Kevin Allen
IIRC, Adobe Illustrator lines have special corner definitions, that might be an excellent VE Quote Link to comment
M5d
Not a perfect solution: Right Click>Decompose (This breaks the poly at the corners only). Then I Group the result >Command Key+G. 1 Quote Link to comment
