Locating a light source.

I HAVE A MODEL THAT IS BEING ILLUMINATED FROM AN UNKNOWN LIGHT SOURCE.  I KNOW THIS BECAUSE IF I CONSTRUCT A 1000 ' WALL AND EQUAL SIZE FLOOR ABOVE THE MODEL THE LIGHT SOURCE IS BLOCKED.  IS THERE A WAY TO HAVE ALL LIGHT SOURCES MADE  VISIBLE SO THAT I CAN DELETE THEM .   THANKS

Window > Palettes > Visualization > Lights tab > "All" radio button. This will list all Lights in the file.

 

Aside from Light objects, other potential sources of illumination may include Glow textures, Renderworks backgrounds, the Ambient Info - Brightness slider within Lighting Options, and the "Default light" which is a light that's present only when no Light objects are in the scene (and which doesn't appear in the Visualization Palette).

You can do a custom selection of lighting objects; also you could turn off ambient lighting…

FYI: If you want to get rid of the "Default Light" you should place a light and turn it off.
