I am curently using the 2020 student version license [English (+French standards)] and I am doing an internship in an Japanese agency which use the 2017 professionnal Japanese version. When they want to open my files, they receive the following error message: "This file was saved in the student edition of Vectorworks. Files saved in the student edition cannot be opening in the professional version." It is really impossible? Isn't there any other solution?
It’s not the newer version problem because I exported my files in the 2017 version.
Also, the problem is not the watermark either, this is a new error that will not let open the file at all.
I read in an other forum that the problem do not occur in the US. Is the problem due to Japanese law?
