AnneSea
Having issues with my site model. I imported an aerial photo with contours and then traced the contours as polylines. I go through the steps to create the model (survey input - 2d ploys to 3d source data) and nothing comes up when I validate the 3d data but when I build the SULLIVAN site.vwxmodel it doesn't work. Vectorworks, Inc Employee Mike Lamb Posted January 28, 2022 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 28, 2022 Hi AnneSea, I downloaded your file and had the same issue. As a workaround, I discovered that if you select the 15 3D polygons and copy them over to a new blank file, the site model will generate successfully, at least it did for me. Let me know if this works for you. I'll report this issue to engineering. Thanks, Mike Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee bozho Posted January 31, 2022 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 31, 2022 Hi AnneSea, I noticed that the Clip Cube feature is turned on in the file and the created site model falls outside the specified Clip Cube (here can be found more information about the Clip Cube feature: https://app-help.vectorworks.net/2019/eng/VW2019_Guide/Views/Viewing_a_Model_with_the_Clip_Cube.htm ). The site model (and any other 3D geometry covert by the Clip Cube) shows after turning off the Clip Cube ('View' menu > 'Clip Cube'). Quote Link to comment
