What is the difference between the 3 transformation modes when Georeferencing

Hi there,

 

I'm trying to georeference a model I have created in Vectorworks and for that I click on File/Document settings/Georeferencing.

 

I put the coordinates and the angle and select the coordinate system, but then at the bottom of the window I don't know which one to select and I don't understand the differences between each one them.

 

Anyone that could help with this?

It depends on where you are in the world and which source coordinate transformation system is being used for the source data.

It basically defines a bending transformation to the horizontal plane to improve agreement between local Shapefiles, longer distance surveys and the VW model.
