pixel2
Hi, Is someone familiar with the scale reference tool in Autocad? If yes, can anyone tell me some way to make it in vectorworks. I use that mainly with airial photos where I have some information about buildings . thanks, best regards Bruno Quote Link to comment
Delmer
You can't quite do the same thing in VW (that I know of). The best alternative is to take a measurement off each item, divide one by the other to get your scale factor, and use Scale Objects under the Tool menu. Quote Link to comment
propstuff
remember you don't need the calculator: you can (like all VW number fields)do the maths directly in the scale factor field :-) One of those great little things about VW! cheers. N. Quote Link to comment
pixel2
hi, the problem is bigger when I have a fotograph of a elevation of a building and have to scale it to the original size, using a known dimention in the picture. I realy need this qind of tool. is there any other tool in vectorworks that makte the same job? Best regards Quote Link to comment
Ramon PG
I thinks Delmer's right. Use the Scale Objects again. Unless you have a disrtorted picture, as in a photo taken looking upwards. Probably there's a way of fixing that in VW, too. Quote Link to comment
