Heads Up Display Prefs and Help appear on my other display!

I have two displays. These gear and ? icons are from the Vectorworks heads up display, but they appear on my other display. I can get them to disappear if in invoke the heads up display on my display with Vectorworks. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Try and click and hold on the VW icon in the Dock. Keep holding while you go to Options and then to Assign to Desktop on Display 2.

 

This may get all your palettes, et all moved to your external monitor when it is attached.

I will try that. My expirience with assigning apps to desktops has not been good. My Mac has a mind of its own. It decides where an app is happy.

VW seems to get confused about what to put on which monitor. Sometimes Assigning to Desktop will make it work like a single monitor for a while.

I think it's a Monterey OS problem. I have trouble with other apps too. I use Stay to fix the app on which display issue.
