Top/Plan View Lock

Stagedesigner

Question

A suggestion for the next version from a very long-time user....  Would it be possible to include the ability to 'lock' the "Top/Plan" item in the STANDARD VIEWS menu - particularly when one is drawing primarily in 2D?  There is a single direct-keystroke function that changes the views - and we find this frustrating and annoying when it occurs accidentally during other operations.  If a checkbox preference or some other means to 'lock' the view into "Top/Plan" mode could be added to the program, this would be very helpful in preventing these accidental view changes.  Of course, the view could be easily 'unlocked' when desired, but would prevent the Top/Plan view from suddenly changing to a random 3D view by accident. Thanks for considering!

This should be the Numpad Numbers

(1-9 = 3D; 0 = 2D Top Plan View)

These are hard coded.

You can activate "allow direct number input" in Quick Settings.

This will switch Numpad keys to numeric input - when an Input is active.

But still, when no Number Input Field is active,

Numpad Numbers will switch the View from Top, SideViews to Isometrics anyway.

I personally really love the Numpad View Navigation for my 3D work.

So I don't even need multiple View Panes, as it is so fast and easy that way.

Also I need "direct number input" active and it also works magically reliable

for me.

But I would not mind if there would be an option for you to lock View to Top Plan.

(Maybe in the VW Settings / 2D legacy tab (?) to concentrate all functions at one

place - to allow a pure 2D Workflow)
