UNLOCKING LAYER LINK

ACCIDENTALLY I LOCKED 2 LAYERS WITHOUT CREATING A NEW DESIGN LAYER TO PLACE THE LINK ON. HOW DO I GET THE OBJECTS BACK TO THEIR RESPECTIVESOURCE LAYER? i'M HOPING THERE IS A SHORTER WAY THAN "EDIT>UNDO" COMMAND. bY THE WAY, I'VE RUN OUT OF "UNDO (CTRL Z)" STEPS. IS THERE AN EASY WAY TO DO THIS? THANK YOU

Under the edit menu, at the bottom you will find an unlock command which should unlock any selected layer links. Hope that helps,

To delete a Linked Layer ...do Menu>unlock then delete the Linked Layer(s) as required.
