Chris Rogers
I have text set up to automatically rotate to be readable. I presume this is controlled through Document Preferences>Adjust Flipped Text? I am attempting to put parking lot numbers on a drawing, so I want the numbers oriented to the driver of the car, not to the sheet. I only want to affect the parking lot numbers, not all of the other text in the file. Is this possible to do? I should add that rotating the text manually works in model space but it displays incorrectly in the viewport. Edited November 16, 2021 by Chris Rogers Quote Link to comment
E|FA
With the text selected, change the rotation angle in the Object Info Palette. You might need to choose 179° instead of 180° to prevent auto rotation, but I didn't go in and check. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
If I remember correctly, the amount that will ignore Adjust Flipped Text is 0.02°. So set the rotation of things you don't want flipped to 180.02 or 179.98 (89.98 or 90.02). Actually I think it is anything greater than 0.01°, so you could probably use 0.01000001°, but you will never see the 0.02° rotation and it is much easier to keep straight. 1 Quote Link to comment

Pat Stanford
Going back into the layer sounds like you are coming from a viewport. Each viewport has its own setting for Adjust Flipped Text. What exactly are you doing and what are you seeing? Quote Link to comment
