KenH
I would be grateful if someone could guide me upon how to create this gable 8 pane window. It needs to be 980 at sill height and finish at Eve height of 2400mm with a gable of 36 degree. Sincere Thanks KenH Quote Link to comment
Mat Caird
Hi KenH I got to here then gave up. My next step would be "convert to 3d polys", then manually draw to top arrangement. Then create a symbol so it will insert correctly into the wall. Convert to 3d polys generated a lot of items, so maybe just draw the elevation manually using polygons, then extrude. Then make a symbol. These workaround methods won't show a window on a default worksheet, so you'll have to workaround that to if you use the schedules. HTH, Mat Quote Link to comment

KenH
Hi Matt and Tom. Sorry Guys I am using 2022 and your image doesn't look anything like my Landscape in 2022. I have tried everything now without success. I can't find a demo in University so am a bit beaten so to speak. If you have any other ideas they will be appreciated. Many thanks KenH Quote Link to comment
E|FA
Mat's example uses WinDoor, not the standard Window tool. You can add it (in Architect 2022, at least), via the Tools menu->Partner Products. The option of building it as a 3D object, and using at as a symbol should work with the standard Window tool (https://app-help.vectorworks.net/2022/eng/VW2022_Guide/Windows/Windows.htm) Quote Link to comment
TomKen
I did this with the curtain wall tool. I've attached the file so you can look at it. Window.vwx Edited November 15, 2021 by TomKen 3 Quote Link to comment
