Database fields not showing as pop-up entry in IFC proxy

I have attached a custom database, that uses pop-up entries to define special needs for BIM workflow.

When i attach the database to an IFCProxy as a custom pset, the pop-up fields do not appear anymore.

They are normal textfields.

Something i am doing wrong or a known issue?

 

See the screenshots. The first one is the edit window in the database itself.

The second when it´s selected in the OIP to edit the IFC entries.

I have the same problem and can´t find a solution for that. I tried it in VW19, VW21 and VW22. It is always a text field in my Custom PSet.

Hi @bjoerka,

 

This issue is handled with the new Task Overview "T02119-Data Manager v2.0" for Vectorworks 2023. There will be new Custom Property Sets Manager where you can define the field as Popup and set its values. The Custom Property Sets will no longer rely on Records and the user will have the ability to create Property Set without the need of a Record.

In the currently released version it is not possible to define the Custom Property Set's field as Popup.
