Claire dHK Posted September 22, 2021 Share Posted September 22, 2021 I have been using Vectorworks for a number of years and today when I drew a 2D polyline, the line started to automatically close. I did not select the 'close' option in the OIP. This is making it difficult to draw poly lines of flashing (for example). When I draw a complex shape, it automatically closes the volume and the majority of my line work is simplified into a triangle etc. How do I turn this feature off? I understand that 'K' closes the polyline. Is there a lettered shortcut command that opens it? Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Sincerely, Claire Quote Link to comment
michaelk Posted September 22, 2021 Share Posted September 22, 2021 Are you double clicking to invoke the tool? If you do double click the polygon tool is the closed checkbox ticked? What is the fill? I wonder if you could have a hatch that looks like it completes polygon. Quote Link to comment
