DBruhnke
Client has asked for a drawing similar to the attached. It shows what appears to be a horizontal cross section of a plan in black and white with shadows for all objects. How does one accomplish this easily in Vectorworks? Quote Link to comment
Hans-Olav
Two stacked viewports? background is horizontal section viewport with open-gl rendering, no color front regular top/plan viewport to get door openings and wall detail 1 Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
Or single Horizontal Section VP: Lines and Shadow (Artistic Renderworks) background render + Hidden Line foreground render. Adjust Smoothing Angle in hidden line render settings to get the 3D objects to display the way you want. 1 Quote Link to comment

With some of the other comments, might give the clip cube another shot with a combo. Thanks Quote Link to comment

No worries these were quick tests I did yesterday: I normally always use Top/Plan so was interested to try Horizontal Section VP 5 Quote Link to comment
