Ramon PG
I am trying to edit a Massing Model I did a few day ago and when I try to edit the height from 10 feet to 15 feet this happens. Looks interesting but it's not what I want. I know I can edit textures for MM walls or Roofs but not separately for wall/roof heights. Or can I? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
If you've enabled 'Use Custom Roof from Profile' the roof becomes a separately editable object from the walls + will behave like this if you modify the massing model height: the 'Height' parameter for the Massing Model in the OIP will only affect the walls. You need to go to Modify > Edit Massing Model to enter an edit mode for the roof where you can edit the roof's height to match the walls. Enabling 'Use Custom Roof from Profile' means you create a separate Roof object for the Massing Model that can be edited in all the ways you'd expect for a Roof. If your massing model just requires a basic hip roof of the type shown in your screen shot there's no need to enable 'Use Custom Roof from Profile' + the roof will raise + lower along with the walls when you change the massing model height. 2 Quote Link to comment
