Ramon PG Posted August 19, 2021 Share Posted August 19, 2021 (edited) I use the tilde key for the arrow tool and had and set the X key for "Suspend Snapping", but even when set it does not work. zoomer Posted August 19, 2021 Share Posted August 19, 2021 I testet it with VW 2021 SP4 on M1 Mac with Monterey, It works fine for me. For me "tilde" key means ">" key on my QWERTZ keyboard. (But it is at the same location on keyboard as US tilde) You may try a different "default" Workspace. If that would work, it may be a problem with your Workspace's short cut assignments or a corrupt Workspace. 1 Quote Link to comment

Now I recall that it has happened before and this time actually not all the settings transported from 2017 to 2021. Seems I have to recreate the whole command structure, even the stock ones like copy and paste!! Update: recreating the Basic Tools palette is giving me an incredible hard time. zoomer Posted August 19, 2021 Share Posted August 19, 2021 Well, I was pretty successfully migrating my Workspaces, since VW 2017 or so, by each years upgrade. But migration over 4 years may be more risky. Maybe it is easier to create the Workspace from scratch from a Default VW Workspace vs trying to repair your custom Workspace. (Well, for me, there were so many customizations in Workspace that I gave up my planned Workspace from scratch for VW 2021. But so far my only problems seem to be constantly losing settings of Top Palette entries) Quote Link to comment
