Ryan Russell
I sort of understand this tool. As it stands, I am able to see the project location from by using the “Geolocate” tool. I am stuck at how do I then make a snap of the imagery, or proceed to the next steps. I have a paper document that a former survey was completed upon. And I can then add that data on top of an image. Can someone please point me in the best method going forward, or give me the best practices? Quote Link to comment
E|FA
I seem to remember that the VW University course "ENHANCE SITE FILE COLLABORATION WITH GEOREFERENCING" was pretty good: https://university.vectorworks.net/course/view.php?id=212 1 Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
I think after calling the geoimage you need to draw a rectangle or other shape around the portion of it you want in your drawing, sort of a crop. Then it sticks on the layer plane. After that, use the geolocate tool to place the user origin at desired location on the geoimage to represent your project 000 point. Im away from cpu, so trying to do this from memory. Others please correct as necessary. Edited August 13, 2021 by Benson Shaw Mind meld 1 Quote Link to comment
