Bruce Kieffer
Is there a way to make this worksheet with its rows using alternating colors? 1 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
If it is just a worksheet then yes. You can use the Worksheet Format menu:Cells:Pattern tab. If it is for a set of database subrows, then no. All of the subrows take their setting from whatever you set the Database Header row to. Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
Pat, I don't see how to make the rows alternating colors. I can make the columns different colors. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Is that a database or a worksheet? Assuming it is a worksheet, Command Click to select every other row, Format:Cells:Patterns and set it to Solid and the color you want. Quote Link to comment

Pat Stanford
No there is no way to alternate colors in a database. Every subrow will have the same colors/patterns as the header row. Quote Link to comment

The workaround is to draw a rectangle with light grey solid fill at the back of your worksheet once you have placed it on the sheet layer, but you have to pay attention in case you changed the number of rows while editing you will have to adjust the rectangles manually Quote Link to comment
