Section viewport - no depth adjustment

What am I missing? Where is the dashed rectangle showing the depth of field of my section viewports? I have "limited to section line length" checked in the advanced properties, but I can't adjust the depth. It shows infinite no matter the setting.

I think you are looking for Extents Beyond Cut Plane rather than Limited by Section Line Length. The section line will give you with width of the view.

Under Extents Beyond Cut Plane, Select Finite Depth and add a numerical value for the depth.  If you place the section marker on a viewport or design layer you can also adjust the depth graphically.

Right. Can't see the forest for the trees. Sometimes you get so caught up in the work, you start missing the simple stuff.
