framing a composite wall.

few questions concerning the wall framer:

1) the wall framer seems to go by the centre line of the entire wall. how do i go about framing a masonry cavity wall?

2) if i try to go around this by overlaying a "stud wall" over the composite wall, the window-objects don't intersect both the composite wall and the "stud wall" in the same time. if i frame the subsequent "stud wall", they are windowless.

3) the architect user guide suggest that we should overlap the slab and the wall, but this obviously is not the height of the wall to be framed, how can i approcah this problem?

perhaps i am trying to do this in a wrong way, any tricks please? thanks.

To use the framer in this situation, duplicate the veneer walls, set them into a new layer and class and use the Cavities button to remove their veneer cavity. Adjust their thickness so that the framing is where it would be in the veneer walls. Now use class assignments to frame your interior walls and the exterior walls (in the new layer).
