bohlr
I there a way to delete or "reset" the revision history using the issue manager. I am duplicating an existing project and am attempting to change title block info. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted December 1, 2003 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 1, 2003 Go to each sheet layer, select the title block, and on the Shape pane of the OI palette (if it is a plug-in-object based title block) or the Data pane (if it is a symbol-based title block), you can clear the fields "fieldname30", "fieldname31", and "fieldname32". This will clear the revision history. Quote Link to comment
TomD.Arch
Wow! I just did it - it works, but this is an amazingly schlocky way of handling this. This is screaming for an improvement at the next point release! Quote Link to comment
matto
If the process can be so ease to write on this message board, It's screaming for a Script. Quote Link to comment
eric.rktek
I think the issue manager could be tweaked a little bit to make this much more user friendly. I have a slanted view, because I only have one sheet and title block per file, but I would really appreciate it if the last step of Issue Manager (dates & stuff) would pull up a series of fields that showed you the previous dates and issues. It would be great if it defaulted you to fill in the next available one, but allowed you to edit past issue dates without have to go to the data pane of the OIP. Quote Link to comment
