MINDI Posted June 3, 2021 Share Posted June 3, 2021 Hi all, I was following this tutorial (https://forum.vectorworks.net/index.php?/articles.html/articles/how-to/custom-title-block-r79/) to edit the title block. trying to link the text to the record format so I can edit the info from the Object Info. But I do want a few text boxes can collect the info from the Sheet Number and Sheet Title, so that I don't need to type from sheet to sheet. The detail of my issued can be found in the screenshot. Because the demo video you are watching is a bit outdated. If you are using VW 2018 or above, then I suggest that you use the Title Block Border object - here is the help for it to get you started https://app-help.vectorworks.net/2021/eng/index.htm#t=VW2021_Guide%2FSetup%2FEditing_a_title_block_border.htm%23XREF_60213_Editing_a_Title&rhsearch=title block border&rhsyns= . You can also check for video lessons in the VW university here https://university.vectorworks.net/. If you are using VW version 2017 or lower, then the demo video you watched should be relevant and you should be able to get the data using the symbol and linked text values and the old Sheet Border object. Hi all,
