Create horizontal section viewport from Clip cube

I may be mistaken but it would be very useful to be able to create a horizontal section viewport from a clip cube in the same way we can a vertical section viewport.

 

We have been working this week on a project with distinct Loosian overtones and it has been far easier determining where the cut plane for the plan should be taken using the clip cube. frustratingly though we cannot generate a plan from the clip cube it seems.

You can do this already

Right click on side face of clip cube > create section viewport

 

right click on top face of clip cube > nada

I should correct the title of this thread...

 

Create horizontal section viewport from rotated Clip cube

 

The problem exists when the plan is rotated and you naturally rotate the clip cube to align with the plan.

 

There is no option to 'create section viewport' from the top face and give we ALWAYS work aligned true north, that's a bit of a pain.
