converting to 10.1

Opening v9.5.3 (Mac) files in 10.1 results in strange results:

- Reference markers (interior elevation markers) are at a larger and different font than the original - and turn back to the correct font when selected and reduced to the correct size.

- Room name and number are at a smaller and different font than selected in the original file.

- Elevation benchmarks are at the correct size but different font.

- Characters attached to symbols (ie electrical device symbols/objects) are a different font and larger size.

By simply opening a 9.x file in 10.1, am I missing a step in the conversion process? Or did I spend a bunch of money for an upgrade that provides as many problems as goodies. Going through an extensive file and changing each of these items will not be worth it.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

There is a bug that has been fixed in an upcoming maintenance release. Meantime, the quick and easy fix for this is as follows: Choose the command "Create Plug-in..." from the Organize|Scripts menu. When the dialog appears, simply click on the Done button. All your objects with text should now appear properly.

Robert, thanks - that did the trick for everything except the Room Name font. If you can remind me how to change/add font selection in the "Room Name" Object Palette, I'll be set.

The Room Name objects may have to have their parameters looked at. Select all of them and set their parameters from the Info Palette.
