Phil Schawe
I'm using the Door PIO and have selected a solid door with a vision lite. I can't seem to get the lite to render as clear glass, even though I have it set in Classes as Clear Glazing. All my other windows and storefront doors render glass as clear. I had changed to a solid door from a glass door, and the glass door rendered fine. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
It sounds like you know what you are doing, but just to confirm, in the Door Settings dialog box, Classes pane is Glazing set to a Clear texture? Your image may look different screen shot is form 2021. Quote Link to comment

Phil Schawe
Here's a rendermap showing the door. Sidelites and transom rendering fine. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Please paste the wall with that door into a new file and see if that works. If not, please post the file so we can take a look. Quote Link to comment

Phil Schawe
okay - I just deleted that PIO and started from scratch, and everything is A-OK. maybe a PIO can get corrupted? 1 Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
@Phil Schawe was just about to say that the glass is clear when I open it... But glad you got it sorted 1 Quote Link to comment
michaelk
@Phil Schawe I've seen this happen sometimes when a glass door is removed from a wall (or suffers some other trauma). It appears to add a panel on both the inside and outside of the glazing. I haven't been able to replicate it so I haven't filed a bug yet. But it happens enough that I recognize it. Usually changing it to a solid or panel door and back again fixes it. 2 Quote Link to comment
