P Retondo
When using the "Door" insertion tool, if the wall has assymmetrical cavities it is not possible to line up the cavity lines in all door configurations with a simple swing door. In fact, it works for only half of the possible door swing configurations. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted March 7, 2003 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 7, 2003 I believe this bug was fixed in version 10.1. Quote Link to comment
P Retondo
Robert, I'm using 10.1. The bug wasn't fixed, at least not in my copy, which I downloaded from the NNA website. [ 03-08-2003, 12:09 AM: Message edited by: P Retondo ] Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted March 8, 2003 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 8, 2003 Then I may not be understanding your problem. Please send me a small document illustrating the issue. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
P Retondo
Hi Robert, I sent you a small file containing a door in a wall that illustrates the problem. Quote Link to comment
P Retondo
Playing around trying to solve another problem, I noticed that the assymmetrical cavity problem only occurs with a PIO that has been converted to a symbol. As a PIO, the object is able to depict a door swing in any position and match the cavity configuration. Quote Link to comment
