Overriding Select Elements for Color in Black and White View

I'd like to export my 2D drawings in black and white but with some hatches and lines in color, to provide highlights / accents for clarity. For instance, I'd like to export my site plan in black and white view, but with some green hatches to show landscape elements. Or, I export a plan in black and white view, but with some lines highlighted in red. Is this possible? Is there a way to override the black and white view for just a couple select elements?

If you use Class Attributes for your objects, you could override the line and fill colors for the classes you want to be black and white.

 

Ask again if you need more detail on how to do this.

I'd like to have everything be black and white and just override a couple objects to print in color. Are you describing the opposite? Further clarification on how to do this would be appreciated. Thanks.

You could do it either way.  As long as you are using Class Attributes you have the ability to override those attributes on a by viewport basis.

 

So if you draw everything in color you would need to override the things you want in Black and White to Black lines and white fill. 

 

If you draw everything in Black and White you would need to override the class of the things that you to show in color to the color you want them to be.

 

Another option might be to use Data Visualizations.
