cberg
This is probably a simple thing. Is there a way to update the renderworks texture icon in the resources manager? My resource looks like this, but the icon in the resources manager is not visually descriptive. 1 Quote Link to comment
cberg
If you haven't figured it out, Zoomer, it probably means it can't be changed. Quote Link to comment
zoomer
You mean to exchange it with an own custom icon ? Wouldn't be bad either. I meant that VW should already display the correct effect for all materials (like in C4D). And I mean also for imported C4D Materials. Like currently all transparent C4D imports get that gradient preview. But instead of VW materials, those C4D transparent materials will appear in OpenGL with that tiling gradient. I have to always manually overwrite these Materails with VW transparency shaders to make it look reasonably in OpenGL. (AFAIK VW only uses the Material's lowres Preview for openGL) Quote Link to comment
cberg
I wanted to see if the icon for the material can at all resemble the material. We can start with color and maybe progress from there. As far as I can see, there is no way to visually represent these materials correctly in the resource manager once customized. I wonder how the materials out of the box show up with the right colors. cberg
It's odd. The icon seems to have updated once it was applied to a wall component. Quote Link to comment
Markvl
I've noticed this as well. Seems kinda buggy. Quote Link to comment
