Titleblock and file size

Is there any reason a titleblock would increase the file size by 1.2 MB? The only graphic image is 150kb, and there are only 4 additional fields. A blank drawing with 6 titleblocks makes a file over 5 MB. Is there any way I can see where the bloat is coming from?

Hello @MSLD,

If you are using a bitmap object in your title block and you have multiple title blocks + title block styles with this bitmap in them, then this bitmap is taking its size multiplied by the places where it is used. That is just how bitmaps work. If this is the case, you can add your bitmap in a symbol and then use the symbol in the Title Blocks instead, which will greatly reduce the bitmap size in each title block.

If this is not the case, can you send me a sample file showing the issue?

Thanks, I didn't think of converting the logo to a symbol. It's only 150kb, so I didn't think it would make the file so huge, but I guess it does
