Mat Caird
Hi everyone. So I use the setup assistant to create a project for a simple balcony extension. Tell me, why, when I am on sheet 'floor plan-1', and I choose Organise|layer options|show/snap/modify others...well why can't I see all the other layers in the project? I would probably never want too, except when I lose something copying and pasting between layers (eg a roof) Thanks Quote Link to comment
Matthew Giampapa
Because those layers are marked as "Invisible". The layer options show setting only refers to visible or grayed layers. To make a layer visible, you will need to edit the sheet, (a permanent change) or just change it's setting in layer setup. (this is temporary and will be overwritten the next time you change to a new sheet) Matthew GiampapaNNA Technical Support Quote Link to comment
Mat Caird
Thanks Matthew- so is there a quick way of finding an object lost in the myriad of layers and classes, when you don't know what laer or class it is on, and you have drawn a lot of objects, so filtering for type=line (eg) would be impractical. Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted September 11, 2002 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 11, 2002 For finding objects, try the "custom selection 2" command. Quote Link to comment
