Mat Caird Posted August 22, 2002 Share Posted August 22, 2002 Hi How do I rotate a hatch easily? eg the Soil hatch needs to be rotated by 45 degrees to be acceptable in my office. I could go through and rotate each of the 7 levels individually, but that seems too hard. Any ideas? Thnkas Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign Posted August 22, 2002 Share Posted August 22, 2002 Mat C, If you go to VW FOLDER > EXTRAS > Hatches_Land.mcd., you will find a hatch called "earth". It might take a bit of tinkering (scaling & line weight, etc) but I think it's what you're searching for. PLC Quote Link to comment
Guest Posted August 22, 2002 Share Posted August 22, 2002 Mat, You will have to edit the hatch to be able to edit it if you are applying the hatch thru the Attributes palette. If you are using the hatch thru the menu under Tool, you can rotate the hatch as you apply it. The cursor turns into a paint bucket which you then click in your 2d object one time. You can then rotate the hatch around until it's at an acceptable rotation, then click again. It's kind of like inserting a plugin how you can rotate things around. Quote Link to comment
