Problem Exporting XYZ Rotation Data for MA2

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am not sure if anyone else has had this issue recently. I am trying to export fixture data to MA2 from 2021. The XYZ position data exports correctly, but all the rotation data is exported at 0 instead of the value it actually has. I am understanding there is a problem with the plug in? Does anyone have a work around to export the rotation data?

Thanks for any ideas or help.

Thanks,

Anthony

I had this same issue the other day with Vectorworks on PC. I reinstalled the v2.6 plugin from the MA website and the issue was resolved.

THANK YOU!

I was a little skeptical to be honest that something this easy would work. Downloaded the driver again and put it in the folder. Bam! It worked, thanks again!!!

Have a great day!

Thanks,

Anthony

SOLVED:
If you have multifixtures on your patch, you need to import a Simple dimmer and swap for the correct fixture.

I have a similar problema but just with one type of fixture.

I import 12 different types of fixtures.
All of them are in the correct places (XYZ), however, my Elation - Chorus Line don't have any position.
If I open the XML file, the values of the XYZ are ok:

But on my grandma2 show I don't have any value for XYZ:

Does anyone have this problem too?
I already reinstalled the plugin, same result.
