Jonathan Fitch
I would like to be in touch with some firms using VW 9.5 Mac to discuss your experience with the program. We are a Mac office currently using MicroStation SE but we're thinking of changing. It would be great if we could have a conversation about the program. Thanks in advance for your help. landscape@thefitchstudio.com Quote Link to comment
Speedy Gonzales
Feel free to email me with specific questions. I'll try an answer back in the evenings. I've been using the program since it was MiniCad 6. Before that, we were using AutoCAD 12 for the Mac, before being abandoned, then went onto ClarisCAD. The browsing through this bulletin board should also give you some indication of what it isn't doing well enough, and how folks are working through the issues. Quote Link to comment

Rob Glisson
We are a small firm in FL. We have been using VW 9.5.2 on Macs (OS 9.2.1 & 10.1.5) since it was MiniCad 3.0. We have had a great deal of experience with VWA and are very satisfied. Email us anytime at rob@rojoarchitecture.com Quote Link to comment
ErichR
The above firms seem to be all Mac-based. I am with a Windows firm. Most of the work here is done in AutoCad, but I use Vectorworks. I like that VW is cross-platform and virtually identical in both. The best feature, I think, is 3D and 3D animation. It blows the socks off our clients when we're selling a concept. I don't like the way it exports DXF/DWG files, and neither does anyone else in our office (nor our consulting engineers). But, in this regard, it is at least tolerable. Quote Link to comment
