rafaelmartins.95
So I'm trying to sort my design sheet with some plans and sections. Up until today it was working fine, the viewports took a little bit to update but nothing tragic. Today, however, despite not having any considerable changes to the 3D Model, the uptades are taking forever, to the point where it's not possible for me to work anymore. I left the programme updating all the viewports for almost two hours and it was not done. Now I have been waiting for 40 minutes for just one and it doesn't show any sings of finishing. I don't understand... Is anything wrong with my file? Winter Garden.vwx Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I just downloaded your file and opened it on an i9 MacBook Pro. None of the section viewports took more than about 30 seconds to update. I don't see anything in the file that should be especially difficult to handle. There are lots of curves, but they seem to have a reasonable number of vertices. Restart Computer and VW? Also, the file shows as being watermarked. Did you expect that? Quote Link to comment
rafaelmartins.95
@Pat Stanford Hello Pat, thank you for your reply. I've been able to solve the issue by copying my model into another file. I was trying to update the viewports into "hidden line". I forgot to type that in the post. My file is watermarked because I'm a student. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
In Hidden Line they are taking much longer. All of the curved surfaces definitely impact the performance. Interesting that your version is only watermarked. The students I have dealt with recently have sent files that were not openable in the commercial version. Quote Link to comment
