Line thickness not visible on Attributes Palette

Hello,

I have a basic question that I am sure has a simple answer but I can't find it.

My "Attributes" palette doesn't always show the thickness of a line in numbers.

Only if I change the thickness, then the new thickness is shown.

Is there any way to have it permanently showing?

Even when nothing is selected?

I am attaching two images showing the examples, and no, it does not show when I click the green button on the window. It just makes the window larger and smaller with the same info.

Do you not need to just drag the palette a bit bigger? In the bottom image it looks like it's been collapsed to its minimum width. Do you need it that narrow?

Hi Tom, thank you for your help.

This is the only palette that I cannot resize by dragging bigger (or smaller)

I can change the size by clicking the green button.

Attached are two captures of the same window, enlarged by clicking the green and also reduced... the amount of information is the same...

Any other ideas?
