Symbol loses some graphics properties

When I place a symbol on my drawing from a favourite file in my resource manager, the symbol loses some of its graphics properties. Textures seems to displayed fine, but the colours and gradients disappear.

All layers and classes are on, the file from where I take the symbols is on a server but I also tried saving the file on my computer and have the same issue.

When the same symbols are used by other colleagues in their computers the symbols are displayed perfectly fine.

Does anyone know any solution for this please?

Do you possibly have the file or layer set to Black and White only?

 

What happens if you bring the symbol into a new blank file?

Hi Pat,

 

Thank you, I've checked and neither the layer nor the file are set to black and white only.

 

It seems that when I take the symbol from the resource manager of a specific file (my company's library), the symbol doesn't display their graphic properties correctly. However, if I take the same symbol from other drawing (any other drawing done by any of my colleagues) it does work. 

 

Any thoughts about why this could be happening? thank you.

It sounds like perhaps someone has corrupted  the version in the library file.

 

Open the library file directly and see if the symbol looks correct there.
