Persistent Record Format

Is there a way to attach a record format to a wall to other styled object so that the record format field entry is persistent (same) for all instances of the styled object?

Unfortunately No.  Once a symbol or object is created from a definition that has a record attached, there is no longer any link between the information attached to the definition and the information attached to the object. Each instance of a Record is separate and can be changed individually without effect any other instance.

 

The best work arounds are either a script that will repopulate each instance with the same data, or a worksheet where you can see all of the records and edit the data so it is the same.
